Expandable Rubber
This mastic is designed based on synthetic rubber resins and has the ability to foam and cure at temperatures of 150 to 200 degrees Celsius with various expansion ratios from 150 to 1500 percent expansion and proper adhesion to the grease sheet. It is used in the automotive industry and body shop in strip and dimensional forms. This mastic is used to control vibration areas, to control and block acoustic pipes in the body of the car at high expansion ratios, and at low expansion ratios to control vibrations and cover gaps in the engineering and design of the car.
Application
This product group is used in two forms: with a low expansion ratio to control vibrations and engineering tolerances, and with a high expansion ratio to block air passage pipes (sound pipes).
Key Features
Thermal resistance to slip and creep
Initial adhesion to the grease sheet without slipping and creep
Thermal expansion according to the design and the situations used
High sound attenuation coefficient (TL) at different frequencies
